Travis Education Center uses a block schedule and are on a quarter system. There are 4 quarters in our year. Students will be enrolled in 32.5 credits each quarter and have the potential to earn up to 130 credits in a year.

TEC also has an Academic Probation process. Students are required to earn a minimum amount of credits per quarter in order to avoid Academic Probation.

Seniors: min. of 18 credits     Juniors: min. of 17 credits      Sophomores: min. 15 credits

Should a student earn less than the required minimum, we will hold an Academic Probation meeting with the parents, student and staff. If a student fails Academic probation they will be referred to the Student Attendance Review Board (SARB) at the district for a meeting to determine best placement.
